Cap 3 · Site Visit

Cap 3 is situated on a previledged hill top in the north of Saint Lucia, with 360° views from the sunrise over the Atlantic ocean, to the southern Hills of Cap Estate and beyond, to the sunset over Pigeon Point and the Caribbean Sea to the west as well as views all the way to Martinique in the north.

The brief was for a spacious main house with 2-3 independent cottages, an open air gym and an event garden.

To maximise views and privacy at the same time, the buildings have been carefully

positioned over the hill topografy of the site such that each building enjoys privacy at its pool and terrace area, while also featuring at least two uninterupted sea side views and a garden.

The buildings rounded edges transform the traditional caribbean hipped roofs with timber shingles into a contemporary design language with local heritage.
