Barn House
Maastricht, Netherlands

The Barn is the central hub of this family home comprising of a refurbisched barn and new build bedrooms adjacent to it which together frame the garden and surrounding terraces. The barn opens to a patio terrace on one side, and to the garden on the other side, where also most of the bedrooms are located. It was key to the project to keep the uplifting spacial feel of the barn intact and not devide it into separate rooms. The dual sliging windows on both sides further enhance this feeling where the sunpath can be experienced throughout the day.
