The project is situated on a steep slope with the sun passing over the hill in the back of the house. Windows towards the north side are hence maximised in size for natural daylight, without the risk of too much heat gain on this northern facade. 
To maximise the sun at the pool terrace and benifit from regulated roof lights for the southern sun, the house is arranged with an open plan penthouse living and pool terrace at the upper floor, while the bedrooms are arranged in the middle floor. Under the pool there is a double height gym or artist space - depending on the individual fit out
preferences.
